Current time in Cancun
A poem by Super Chill Pig.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” writes Super Chill Pig with a spin,
Where ocean’s lullaby begins and tales are tucked within,
Ride with me on the curling wave, as this surf tale we begin.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” where dawn breaks with a brew,
Walking the beach, coffee in hand, bathed in a golden hue.
Toes sinking in white whispers, painting a morning new.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” when dolphins make their play,
We swim with joy, ride the swell, in the heart of the bay.
Sea’s symphony rings aloud, as the azure waters sway.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” when nightfall wears a glow,
To the enchanting XCaret Show, we sway and flow.
History unwinds, under the stars’ watchful show.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” as we gaze at Cozumel’s peak,
Our cute cousin, a stone’s throw, in the Caribbean creek.
Its charm sparkles in the distant surf, a hideaway so sleek.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” asks the sister city’s light,
Playa Del Carmen under the moon, oh, what a sight!
Her allure dances with the waves, in the tranquility of the night.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” on the cusp of escape’s rhyme,
Far from the States, in the land of surf and prime.
We’ve found our chill, in the rhythm of Cancun’s time.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” as the sun dips into the tide,
Promises of return echo, with every ebb and glide.
Cancun, your enchantment sways in our hearts, a never-ending ride.
Yet, as Monday reclaims its throne, back to the grind we steer,
Cancun’s warmth cradled in hearts, its whispers in our ear.
In dreams of surf and sand, Cancun forever near.
“What Time is it in Cancun?” Super Chill Pig’s tale takes a bow,
A surfer’s homage to a time and place, in the here and now.
To Cancun, in the rhythm of the waves, we take our vow.
